Release Debut Single
On the 30th of June, Merseyside band Modern Marriage released their much-anticipated debut single “Gerry And His Pacemaker“
which was recorded at 3rd Planet studios with Andy Fernihough.
The band have built up a loyal following, gigging all over the North West during the last 18 months, sharing stages with Alan McGee, Mexican Dogs and Hot Wax.
Now we have their first release, available on all major platforms, along with an official video to be found on YouTube.
“Gerry And His Pacemaker” is the first in a series of singles that will lead up to the eventual release of the band’s debut album, due out next winter.
Modern Marriage are still unsigned with all output being funded by themselves.
The song is a tribute to local legend Gerald Williams who would often be seen at gigs around the Merseyside area, playing his banjolele.
