Smithdown Social Arts Hub Fundraiser
Smithdown Social Arts Hub Fundraiser
Smithdown Social Arts Hub (formerly Smithdown Social Club 2018) is a community benefit society for the creative arts community in Liverpool. As a community based organization, they have supported and inspired local musicians, artists, writers and filmmakers to develop projects and create a variety of projects that enrich the community.

They depend on funding to develop these projects and are asking for support from creatives far and wide to help them to continue the amazing work they love to help create.
In their own words, Smithdown Social Arts Hub said: Since 2018 we have been supporting grassroots music and creative arts in the Greenbank Ward of Liverpool we made a proper attempt to transform a derelict Conservative Club into a community venue until Covid-19 forced us to close and re-think our business model. We couldn’t let Covid stop our force for good and we set up projects using funding from the Cultural Recovery Fund to support local creatives to generate digital content when work was scarce. In January 2021, we moved locations to bring creative arts to the culturally diverse and vibrant high street, Smithdown Road, and set up a physical art gallery and digital arts space that opened in June 2021. It has been an honour for us to support projects for writers, musicians, filmmakers and artists in Liverpool.
